Project Manager on the following projects:

-Sydney Harbour Tunnel Bradfield Park

This project involved the construction of the Tunnel Ventilation Station at Bradfield Park.

-Railway Bridge for Gore Hill Freeway

This project involved the construction of twin 35m railway bridges adjacent to the existing railway line and then “sliding” the railway bridges into their final position over a weekend.

-Road Bridge for Gore Hill Freeway

This project involved the construction of a new 40m bridge across what was to become the Gore Hill Freeway.

-Fig Street Road Connection at Ultimo

This project involved the construction of a road through a road cutting up to approx. 10m deep which was required to be supported by piles, rock anchors and concrete. Associated structures included 3 precast concrete bridges as well as the diversion and construction of various sections of pipework.

Project Manager, Southbank Project Melbourne.

Responsible for the construction of approx. 800m of “boardwalk” adjacent to the Yarra River and included piles, precast concrete piers, various concrete ramps and structures as well as the laying and/or diversion of numerous underground services.

Project Manager on the following projects:

– 6km Pacific Highway near Kempsey

Responsible for the construction of approx. 6km of the Pacific Highway and associated structures including the construction of various drainage pipes and other services at various locations along the project.

-Coffs Harbour Airport Redevelopment

Responsible for the construction of approx. 2.3km of a new runway, associated taxiways, new access road and various other associated structures as well as associated, drainage, sewer, electrical, lighting and water supply pipelines throughout the site.

-Area Manager at Darling Harbour

Responsible for the construction of all public areas north of the Western Distributor. This involved the construction of numerous types of construction including bridges, pre-cast concrete, paving, laying of services including the laying of numerous types of pipework.

This project involved the construction of approx. 4.5km of concrete or steel lined tunnel, 1.0km of 45o inclined steel lined tunnel and concrete lined vertical shafts and associated structures.

-Ginninderra Tunnel project, Canberra

This project involved the construction of approx. 5.3km of concrete lined tunnel, concrete lined shafts and associated structures including approx. 1.9km of concrete pipes in open trench excavation.

-Estimating Engineer, Brisbane Head Office
